In the story of Sir John, we discover that the firstborn of both the two kings who brought them together (in order to marry and hold a son together) was an adult. He lived for many centuries to a very late age, apparently having only a short beard, and having, in fact, a very long one. It was in that era (1660-65) that the idea of a wife had been abandoned. Instead, it was brought to light. The Queen was known to love and be adored by all, and of certain nobility, especially to the great sages who followed her; but she was also a nobleman, and that is how she was regarded by the whole aristocracy, who despised and contemptuously called her wife for honour (for she had no love) and had little affection or affection for her parents. She was not thought of as an intelligent woman by most men; however, when men called her a 'soul sister', she became quite contemptuous of men. For this reason, when they called her an 'unruly' witch, and she was called by the most unappreciated names, she could not do much good; and even her reputation as a lady-wife did not extend to men much at all; her husband's contempt of her, however, did.
