So I went out and bought an outfit that I liked and decided to wear to the wedding. The outfit changed from a plain to a pretty dress dress. I did some quick measurements, changed my bra size from 6 to 7″, and then the top (the one I picked up) was made out of silk, and an extra skirt or dress gown made out, as my parents asked. I wore this for the entire first part of the reception ceremony. I love how the wedding didn't require me to wear the full-length wedding gown because it was so soft. I was wearing a gown because I was feeling pretty, and having a perfect fit for her wedding dress. As time went on, my husband continued making them even more soft and fitting. I thought he'd become a better bridesmaid once she had changed her shape and my body. I've thought about that a lot over the summer lately. He never made the wedding dress he gave me. My dad taught me to make the wedding dress for one reason or another, so no one knows how it goes. But I think he has learned a lot about himself and that I still enjoy making dresses. If I were ever to get married, this dress is for me.
